It’s June
This past weekend, my friend Scott came to visit from Lincoln, NE. Friday, we enjoyed Chicago’s best deep dish pizza, went out to bars, free shots, people watched, and probably walked about 20 miles that night.
The only photo I took that night was when Raychol and her best friend were telling each other how much they love and miss each other. Too bad it’s so dark. I want my phone to have flash so bad.

Saturday was a day of brunch, the Metronome festival, book stores, naps, thai food, tea party, short film screenings, the blue ribbon glee club, running into more people from Nebraska, soccer, running into my roommate everywhere, tiny nameless bar on Western that is open until 3 am, free drinks, and giving my number to a bartender because she says she has a bed to give away.
The Blue Ribbon Glee Club. Thomas is a member of this band. I enjoy em a lot. And they play once a month, so that’s nice.

Sunday, everything I wanted to do was canceled because of bad weather. So, I agreed to go shopping on Michigan Ave with the rest of them. I really hate shopping. But it was so cold near the lake, I actually had to buy a jacket because I am a whiny baby. Come on, it’s June! Time for that warm weather.
Here is a photo of Thomas picking out shirts for Scott. I don’t even remember what store this was. Raychol was off somewhere, drooling over a pair of sweet bright blue shoes.

After shopping, I finally got to see Raychol’s sweet apartment. I’m jealous. Then, we ate chinese food and went to the Signature Room at the Hancock building to see the awesome view, it was way too foggy, but still pretty awesome.
And while I’m at it, back up to Thursday… Katie and I went wandering around downtown. All the museums in Chicago were free admission last week. We ate tacos, went to Chicago Art Museum, H&M (my first time!), and Blue 13. It was a good night.
